Fun days Out

Companions offers a personal service to anyone who wants to get out more. Don’t feel confined to your home. You choose where you’d like to go and we’ll accompany you. Stately homes, birthday treats, visits to the garden centre - or swimming, exercise classes, keep fit - wherever you want to go.

Medical Appointments

You can’t always choose the perfect time for your doctor’s, dentist, or hospital appointment. With Companions, any time is a good time, we’ll be there to take you when you need to go.

Shopping Trips

Need a new outfit but can’t get to the Trafford Centre or into town? Now you can! Companions offer a door to door service in easy access vehicles - and don’t worry if you’re in a wheelchair, they’re no problem too.

Day or Night Sitting

If you need someone to be there, day or night, Companions are available to sit with you when you need us.

Help at Home

Maybe you need a little assistance with those little jobs around the house that you can’t manage any more - we can help.

Reassurance Calls

Everybody needs a little time off, but we can be there 24/7. So if you’d like us to call in when your family or friends can’t be there, we’re happy to help.

Group activities

We organise group activities for the people that we care for. These activities range from shopping expeditions to theatre trips or meals out, in small groups of like-minded individuals. Groups are always accompanied by Companions and they can be an ideal way for a full time carer to get a much needed day off.

Who we are

Companions are a team of dedicated and professional carers with extensive experience in companionship and care of the elderly.

With over 10 years’ experience our staff offer a standard of service that is second to none. Companions are fully insured and First Aid qualified - and for your additional peace of mind, we are a member of Trade Safe, the responsible trader scheme.

What we do

Companions offer reassurance and help with everyday activities both inside and outside the home. We have a door to door service with easy to access vehicles. We can be there when your family or friends can’t!

Who we help

Companions are available to help anyone who may otherwise be confined to the home or local area, giving independence and companionship to people who may feel insecure or lonely. We're based in Saddleworth, Oldham and care those who need our help in Saddleworth and Oldham. We're local people ourselves and understand the needs of the local community.
